Saral Lake (سرال جھیل) is located in Neelam Valley, in Pakistan’s Azad Kashmir at an altitude of 13,600 feet (4,100 m). The lake is accessible from Sharda by a jeepable track which leads to Gumot National Park and then through hiking trek can be reached to the lake. The other way to reach the lake is from Naran side. Trekking through Naran side is even better because one can also witness the most beautiful Dudipatsar Lake. Reaching Saral Lake from Dudipatsar Side needs to cross the Saral Pass. Saral Lake is clearly visible from Noori Top, which connects Pakistan Administrated Azad Kashmir with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. A lake is the most expensive feature of the nature.
Another trek to reach Saral Lake is from Ratti Gali Lake side, this trek is a really mesmerizing and needs at least 3-4 days starting from Azad Kashmir, covering Ratti Gali Lake, Noori Lake, Saral Lake, Dudipatsar Lake, and ending near Naran, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
By personal or public transport.
From Sharda, 3 hours jeep track to Noori Top, and then 4-5 hours trekking to Saral Lake.
From Naran, 2 hours travelling to Jalkhad, and then 3 days trekking to Saral Lake.
